Thinking of the best way to end the year with your mates?
Then it would be one splendid idea to head on to Brisbane Powerhouse from December 3 to 20, 2015, 6pm – 10pm, for a wondrous time at Wonderland 2015.
With Brisbane Powerhouse situated at 119 Lamington Street, New Farm, Brisbane, your visit to the venue will be filled with the procession of circus, cabaret, burlesque, music, comedy, theatre, poetry, and variety shows that star both international and local Australian artists.
If you want to catch the circus, you can come from December 5 to 12, 6pm, for “The Circus Claire Show”, December 3 to 6, Thursday and Sunday 7pm and Friday and Saturday 8pm, for “The Sparkly Taboo”, December 17 to 20, 7:30pm for “The Games We Play”, and December 10 to 13, 7:30pm, for the “Tipping Point”.
If it’s cabaret you’re up for then there’s “Songs for the Fallen” from December 10 to 13, 7pm, and “Pulpshow” from December 10 to 13, Thursday to Saturday 8:45pm and Sunday 7:45pm.
For burlesque, you can visit the venue from December 3 to 6, Thursday to Saturday 8:50pm and Sunday 7:50pm, for “The Merchant of Whimsy”, and December 10 to 13, 8pm for the “Vanguard Burlesque”.
For theatre aficionados, you can come for the “I Want to Know What Love is” from December 16 to 19, Wednesday to Friday 7:45pm and Sunday 2pm and 7:45pm, the “Portrait of a Young Man” from December 3 to 6, Thursday to Saturday 6pm and Sunday 5pm, “Ma Ma Ma Mad” from December 3 to 6, Thursday to Saturday 8:45pm and Sunday 7:45pm, “…him” from December 16 to 20, Wednesday to Saturday 6:30pm and Sunday 5:30pm, and “The Mad and Ugly Show” from December 17 to 20, Thursday to Saturday 8:45pm and Sunday 7:45pm.

Happening simultaneously with the shows at the Wonderland Festival is none other than the Wonderland Food Markets which will be open from Thursdays through Sundays, 6pm – 10pm, during the whole duration of the festival. Expect traders such as Zagyoza, She Bangs, Gozleme Turkish, and tons more, to satisfy everyone’s tummies on the event.
