Royal Shakespeare’s multi-award winning musical, Matilda the Musical, is coming to Brisbane! This musical is inspired by the genius of Roald Dahl who wrote the book it was based on.
From 25 Nov 2016 to 12 Feb 2017 at the Lyric Theatre, the show will be enthralling audiences from all around Brisbane.
Matilda the Musical’s book is by Dennis Kelly and it's original songs are by Tim Minchin.
The story is about an extraordinary girl who has a vivid imagination and sharp mind. With these qualities, she dares to take a stand and change her own destiny.
Matilda the Musical won over 70 major international awards. Some of these include 15 for Best Musical. The musical continues to delight audiences from all over the world including Melbourne, London, Toronto and Broadway.
